What Will It Take To Set Off Your Alarm Bells?

By: Tom Chatham

What does it take to make you sit up and take notice of the problems surrounding society today? What will it take to make you respond to the many crises taking place today? You have eyes so you can see and ears so you can hear but for many people any negative news is a reason to tune out the world and only think good thoughts.

The problems we face continue to pile up and doing nothing is not an option if you expect to survive the next few years in tact. Prior planning and execution of a plan is now required to stay out of the flood zone when the dam breaks and everyone starts to drown. It does not matter what kind of person you are. You have to be able to save yourself before you have the ability to help others including your own family.

You cannot protect your family if you cannot protect yourself from dangerous situations or people. You cannot protect your family if you are too weak from lack of water or food to get others to safety. You cannot protect your family from the elements if you have no cover for them due to sudden loss of your shelter.

You have car insurance just in case you have an automobile accident. You have health insurance just in case you get sick. You have life insurance to help your family just in case you die. You have homeowners insurance just in case your home is destroyed. There is unemployment insurance just in case you lose your job.

So where is your food insurance just in case you cannot find any food in the store? Where is your personal protection insurance just in case you are threatened and cannot depend on the police? Where is your water insurance just in case your water supply is shut off or becomes contaminated? Where is your communication insurance just in case the power is out and normal systems do not work? Where is your energy insurance just in case energy supplies are cut off and you need to drive to safety, cook your food or stay warm?

People think that the types of insurance for cars, health, home and life are just fine to have but the other ones listed are crazy and paranoid to think about. Even in the first case, your insurance policies depend on other people to fulfill them and those people depend on a system that is still functioning such as the banks, communications and the insurance company itself. So what happens to all those other types of insurance when the insurers themselves are no longer functioning. Any crisis that takes down the stock market, power grid or the banks will also take down all of the insurance companies.

The events of the past few weeks should have been a warning shot across the bow for many. Our financial and distribution systems are in a delicate balancing act right now and any sudden shifts could send them tumbling off the cliff rendering the services they perform extinct in a matter of hours. When that happens it will be too late to think about what you should have done when you still had the opportunity.

You cannot get your money out of the bank after the doors are shut, the ATM is empty and the POS systems are no longer working. You cannot get the food you need after the stores have been cleaned out and the distribution system has stopped functioning. You cannot get fuel for your car after the gas stations are empty and deliveries have been suspended. You cannot get police help when everyone calls 911 at the same time and most of the police have gone home to protect their own families.

If your alarm bells have not gone off already what will it take for you to realize you are in serious trouble? When that finally happens what do you plan to do to protect and care for your family? Having no plan means having a plan to suffer and persist through unpleasant situations for no good reason. Not knowing something is excusable but you have been warned many times in the past few years and to have to suffer in the future because you did not know what was coming is no longer an excuse. Failure to prepare at this time will not only cost you but it will likely put an unnecessary burden on those that will have to help you in the future.

The warnings continue to go out. The situation continues to deteriorate. The mass of humanity continues to go about its normal daily business. The Earth continues to rotate with no chance of going back from here. The early warning alarms have sounded advising people to take a defensive stance just in case. Do you hear the alarms yet or have you hit the snooze button for a few more minutes of sleep?

The Coming Days of Planet X

By: Tom Chatham

Many people have no doubt heard of the mythical planet X and the destruction it will unleash on Earth as it passes by. There have been many doomsayers and naysayer’s to date so either you believe in it or you don’t. For those that believe in it a recent interview of Bob Fletcher by Dave Hodges will give you some things to ponder in the coming days.

According to Fletcher, all of the martial law preparations to date are in expectation of the arrival of planet X. All of the governments around the world know of the coming of this heavenly body and are making their own plans to deal with it. The massive number of bunkers around the world that have been prepared in the past few years are expected to be occupied by their owners in the very near future.

Fletcher expects martial law to be declared just prior to the ability of people on Earth to see this body as it approaches. This will insure the elite will be able to bug out to their shelters without hindrance by the lowly masses who will not be told of the approaching mass. The state of martial law could be provoked by the anticipation of WWIII, a plague or as Fletcher suspects as a series of terrorist strikes in multiple places in a short span of time. Basically, we will see a serious problem occur that will keep people occupied as time runs out for them. The declaration of martial law will be the confirmation that Planet X is about to make its close approach.

The information he has from astronomers is that this body will be visible on Earth in the month of December regardless of the year it arrives. By March the worst effects will be felt as it passes. Earth will pass through the tail twice as we revolve around the sun chasing it. We will be in the tail for one hour each time and will be subject to all of the tail debris that follows it. This means we could be hit by multiple space debris to include mountain size asteroids. If one of this size hits the ocean they expect a tsunami about 100 feet tall hitting the corresponding coasts. The meteor hits will create fires worldwide.

As the body moves past the earth they suspect we will be pulled over about 26 degrees. The gravity from this body which appears to be about 5 times the size of Earth will cause tidal forces that pull water over some sections of land. This will be reminiscent of the biblical flood of Noah.

The people studying this event suspect the electromagnetic forces associated with this passing will fry everything electrical on the planet. These forces will be so severe that Faraday cages may not help. This means that those that survive will emerge in a world devoid of all functional electrical gadgets and the ability to power them.

The time from the first passing through the tail to the second passing will be 155 days, and according to Fletcher it will be pure hell on Earth during that time. But, we will see effects on Earth before this destruction happens. They suspect the weather problems we are now facing are just some of the first effects we will experience in the coming days. Earthquakes and volcanism are other effects that seem to be present and escalating at this time as well.

According to Fletcher this is why bunkers are being prepared and stocks of storage food are being bought up as fast as possible. It is also the reason why seed banks are being built by the elites, so they can reseed the planet after it is all over.

If you have not guessed by now, the little people will not be told of the coming destruction and will have no place in these bunkers when the time comes. Fletcher says that even some congressmen and senators that expect to be saved will not get the call when the time comes. When the effects start in earnest it will be an every man for himself situation and few will probably survive it.

According to what is expected it would be wise to be away from the coast and high in the mountains when this hits. Some type of underground shelter will probably help but without knowing specific patterns of destruction it is hard to say if individual shelters will survive the event. If this happens it will be an event of biblical proportions to say the least.

Keeping these things in mind over the coming days will help you to understand any moves by the government. Bob Fletcher also has a DVD for sale on his site with much more detail than in his recent interview and you can find that at bobfletcherinvestigations.com. In the event these things do come to pass and you expect to survive them you might want to read an older article 50 tools and technologies to rebuild civilization(June 2012).

If this planet is for real and causes this kind of destruction it will be a global reset of epic proportions. If this happens I can only hope that those that survive and rebuild will do it better the next time and avoid the problems we always seem to manufacture to destroy ourselves.

What Will You Do When The Government Checks Stop?

By: Tom Chatham

Preppers talk about the day when paper currency becomes worthless and how they plan to barter when things fall apart. But, what will most people do when the government check they depend on stops forever more. Over 50% of the people in America now get some kind of government check every month. That is a question that I think many people have not come to grips with yet. At some point, the checks will stop.

Social security and Medicare are running dry fast and it is only a matter of time before they stop paying out in whole or in part. If someone relies on these payments then they likely do not have sufficient money stored away to survive on in the event payments stop.

Not only that, the many other entitlement payments sent out monthly that are keeping the population clothed, fed and housed will stop at some point as well. When that happens we already know what the result will be, especially in the cities. It is inevitable but many people still trust the government line and do not worry about it.

There are those that realize the threat but have not taken any action to mitigate the problems that will result when the fateful day comes. Many hope it will be forestalled for their lifetimes and some hope if they ignore it, it simply will not happen. If government checks stop it will also mean the destruction of retirement plans and savings accounts and if you do not hold it you will not have it.

One of the most vulnerable groups are the babyboomers that are now retiring at the rate of 10,000 per day. If this growing group suddenly looses their monthly check along with most or all of their savings, it is going to put a lot of pressure on society as these people suddenly try to return to the job market to survive.

With the job market shrinking on a daily basis it is now imperative to develop a backup plan to generate some type of income when you can no longer rely on past promises to be honored. If you can store away some real money or valuable items to utilize later that is great but that will not last you forever.

Anyone that survives the coming currency crisis will be someone that planned ahead and had some way to generate income after everything falls apart. If you can generate income to live on, be it money, food, medicine or some other item you need, you will be able to care for yourself for the duration.

That is going to be a critical element in any long range plan you come up with. This means you will need to have the ability to produce something of value that society will need on a daily basis. The first things people seek out are food, shelter and clothing. Having some abilities in one or more of these areas will be the closest thing to guaranteed sales potential that you can get.

Once these needs have been met by society other things will become important such as energy, security, transportation and medicine. Having some abilities in one or more of these areas will insure income for a long time to come as society rebuilds itself.

If you have abilities in a primary need and a secondary need, you will be way ahead of the majority of the people seeking to survive the chaos that follows the loss of jobs and a functional currency.

This plan could be as simple as growing a small garden to have vegetables and seeds to sell. At the same time it would be little trouble to add a few medicinal plants to your plot. You might be able to offer shelter in the form of a spare room or a cottage in your back yard. You could combine this with transportation or security services. In a breakdown of services, energy would be heavily affected. If you had the ability to produce electricity for refrigeration or ice production or the ability to power a vehicle with a wood gas system, you would have a valuable commodity. The ability to make small wood stoves for people without power would give you a large market for this type of appliance.

It is important to think about all of the systems we rely on every day that people take for granted. This will give you a large list of potential goods or services that you may be able to provide after these things become difficult to get. A few dozen chickens producing eggs in your backyard could be the difference between getting by and suffering terribly.

It is also important to think about the support systems you will need to supply the raw materials to produce your goods or services. Chickens need feed. Wood gas producers need a supply of wood. Making wood stoves requires steel. Growing a garden requires not only the knowledge but seeds, tools and fertilizer.

It is important to keep in mind that retirement is a relatively new invention that came about in the 20th century. Until then, people worked until they literally dropped dead. When the current financial system breaks permanently, people will be forced to go back to work and keep doing so until the day they die. That is the reality many people will have to face in the near future. It is a reality that many have not considered and do not want to think about. You can ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality. When the government checks stop and your savings are gone, what will you do?
